This amazing two-day tour gives you the opportunity to explore the most remarkable Inca archaeological sites, their unique handicraft and textile markets. We will walk through the magical and historic streets of the Sacred Valley of the Incas, learn about the culture and history of the region and then rest in Aguas Calientes to visit Machu Picchu on the second day and return to Cusco.

Tour Plan

Day 1: Cusco - Sacred Valley - Aguas Calientes

We start with your pick up in the morning from 06:00 am to 07:00 am from your hotel or Airbnb in Cusco. We travel to the town of Chinchero by tourist transport until we reach the textile center for an explanation of the importance of Andean textiles and the procedure for making the garments, then we continue with the visit to the archaeological site of Chinchero within the archaeological site we will have the guide's explanation about its history and we will also have time to take photos, we will continue with our tourist transport to the archaeological site of Moray to visit Moray, known as the agricultural laboratory of the Incas. In the same way you will have an explanation and time to take photos. At the end we will go in the tourist transport to the salt mines, first we pay the entrance to make the visit, the guide will give us the explanation and will have time to take the photos. After the visit we travel by transport to Urubamba arriving at noon we will have lunch, and then visit Ollantaytambo, recognized as "The Best Tourist City in the World", where we will observe large lithic pieces of finely carved stone blocks, to be used for astronomical purposes of global impact. Amazement. For locals and foreigners, after the tour we will walk 5 to 10 minutes to the train station in Ollantaytambo to board the train to the town of Aguas Calientes, a trip of approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes, where you can spend the night in Aguas Calientes.

Day 2: Machu Picchu - Aguas Calientes - cusco

Early in the morning we will transfer you to the bus station to go up to the Archaeological Sanctuary of Machu Picchu. The tour lasts 25 minutes by bus, along a zigzag path until reaching the Inca citadel. The guide will take you on a tour of approximately 2 hours, where you will learn about important aspects of the CUSQUEÑA (Inca) culture, the development of its stone constructions, with unique constructions, full of mystery and energy. The citadel has an agricultural and urban area made up of squares, temples, roads, stairways, terraces, aqueducts, among other platforms, which are supported by stone retaining walls. Machu Picchu is considered a great feat of architecture and engineering and there is no doubt why it is considered one of the 7 wonders of the world. After the tour, we will return by bus to the town of Aguas Calientes, where you will have time for lunch and then board the train to Ollantaytambo, where our driver will be waiting to take you to Cusco.
