Leave Cusco behind and travel through the breathtaking landscapes of the Peruvian Andes. During the approximately 2-hour-and-20-minute journey, enjoy panoramic views of traditional villages, valleys, farmland, and impressive mountain scenery.

Before continuing toward the high-altitude area, enjoy a nutritious breakfast with light options designed to give you energy for the day’s adventure.

We also recommend trying coca tea, a traditional Andean beverage commonly enjoyed at high altitude.

 Transfer to the ATV Starting Point

After breakfast, continue for approximately 1 hour by transportation toward the Rainbow Mountain and Red Valley area.

Upon arrival, your guide will provide a safety briefing and explain how to operate the ATV. You will also receive the necessary safety equipment before beginning the adventure.

 Important: The entrance fee to Rainbow Mountain and Red Valley is not included and must be paid separately in cash.

 ATV Adventure Through the Red Valley

Get ready for an unforgettable ATV ride through the spectacular landscapes of the Red Valley, surrounded by colorful mountains and impressive Andean scenery.

Enjoy approximately 45 minutes of riding while taking in panoramic views of:

•  Vicuñas

After the ATV ride, begin an approximately 30-minute hike toward Rainbow Mountain.

 Discover Rainbow Mountain – 5,075 m (16,650 ft)

Arrive at one of Peru’s most famous natural wonders, located high in the heart of the Andes.

Enjoy approximately 30–40 minutes to explore the area, take memorable photos, and admire the spectacular views of Rainbow Mountain and the surrounding landscapes.

The visiting time may vary depending on weather conditions, the group’s pace, and safety considerations. Clear weather may allow more time for photography, while cold, windy, or cloudy conditions may require a shorter visit.

 ATV Return Ride

After visiting Rainbow Mountain, hike approximately 45 minutes back to the ATV station.

Then enjoy another exciting 45-minute ATV ride through the Red Valley to the transportation point.

 Buffet Lunch in Cusipata

After your adventure, enjoy a well-deserved buffet lunch at a local restaurant in Cusipata.

The buffet may include a variety of options such as:
