We had great experience with the guide Rodri, the food was good and we learned a lot about plants, flowers and the Inca during the salkantay trek.

We had such a great time on the Salkantay trek with Rodri. He was funny and helpful and gave us a lot of lessons about the things we were seeing. The food from our chef Freddy was so delicious and we were grateful for our horseman Thomas. The trek was very difficult at times and we even got rained on several times but Rodri and our group always kept a positive attitude and we took care of each other. It was well worth all the incredible views and the friendships formed. There were times that transportation were confusing such as leaving aguas calientes to get on a van back to Cusco. Other than that everything felt like it went smoothly. They stored our extra luggage while we were on the trek which was nice. I strongly recommend Rodri and Machu Picchu jungle trek and I think I will be back soon!

We had an absolutely amazing tour with Machu Picchu Jungle Trek and especially with our guide : Eddy. The trek was the highlight of our Peruvian trip so far and we are extremely grateful for the organisation. The tour was very well built, the food was very tasty and we learned a lot of things ! We really couldn’t have dreamed of a better way to discover Machu Picchu 😍 Thank you so much Eddy !!!

I did the 4day 5 night salkantay trek! It was amazing and so much fun! Great views cute accommodation great food by chief Freddie everyday and waking up to coca tea in the morning by horseman Thomas! Our Guide Rodri was very welcoming and made the trip extra special with a couple of extra quirks! My only thing was sometimes information would get lost in translation but we could always eventually figure it out! Also while Day 2 is known to be the hardest our group found Day 4 to be much harder and weren’t full aware so we drank the day before and ended up doing it hungover which never helps! Overall would totally recommend I’m super I happy I did this trek with Rodri and the team!

Wir hatten den 5 Tages Trek mit Eddie. Die Organisation vorher hat super funktioniert, nur die Tatsache, dass das Gepäck schon am Vorabend abgegeben werden musste, hätte unserer Meinung nach vorher kommuniziert werden müssen. Die Wandertage waren anstrengend, aber gut machbar. Eddie hat uns durch jeden Fluss und jeden Erdrutsch sicher geführt. Das Essen in den Camps war fantastisch, auch die veganen Optionen. Wir haben am 5. Tag den C1 mit dem Machu Picchu Mountain gemacht und sind danach mit dem Bus zurück nach Cusco gefahren. Das fanden wir tatsächlich eher stressig, man hätte bei einer Rückfahrt mit dem Zug das Weltwunder deutlich entspannter genießen können. Dennoch waren das kleine Kritikpunkte und Eddie und das Team aus Köchen und den anderen Beteiligten hat definitiv 5 Sterne verdient.

We did the 5D4N Salkantay Trek and it was an unforgettable experience! The organisation with this company was great. We would absolutely book it again with this company. Our guide Edi was the best! He had so much knowledge about the treks and culture and made us feel safe at all times. Also the chefs were amazing and cooked the best food with great vegetarion options. I'm giving 4 stars because while we had the best time on our tour, I found the communication from the agency before the tour to be lacking. It was hard to get information from them, they didn't confirm start time and pick up without me asking and then on the day there was a mix up with the guide having the wrong start time. But once we were in the van with Mario (driver) and Franks (guide), we had the absolute best time! We did the single ATV rainbow Mountain tour, which included breakfast and lunch (delicious). Everything ran smoothly and Franks was an excellent guide. He didn't rush us and was very considerate with our needs as a group of travellers with some older people in the group. He was a fountain of knowledge and generally very enjoyable. Thanks Franks and Mario!

The Salkantay trek was an unforgettable experience. Our mountain guide, Rodrigo, is a highly trained professional for this adventure. He was always attentive to his group, exceeding my expectations. I highly recommend him.
