Itinerary

Day 1: Cusco - Cusipata Town - Vinicunca Mountain - Cusco

🚐 Hotel or Airbnb pick up in Cusco (4:10 – 5:10)
Your day begins with pickup from your hotel or Airbnb in Cusco between 4:10 and 5:10 a.m. Get ready for our excursion into the picturesque Andean highlands.
🚐 Departure from Cusco (5:10)
Once all participants are assembled, we will depart Cusco around 5:20 a.m. for a scenic two-hour drive to the village of Cusipata.
☕🍞🍌 Nutritious and energetic breakfast for the Peruvian Andes.
You will have a nutritious breakfast with light options to avoid altitude sickness, it is also highly recommended to drink coca tea, it will give you the energy of an Inca.
🚐 We continue to the trailhead.
After breakfast, we will drive for another hour to the entrance point to Rainbow Mountain (please note that there is an entrance fee).
🥾 Rainbow Mountain Hike.
Prepare for an unforgettable experience on Rainbow Mountain. The hike begins at 4,700 meters above sea level and gradually ascends to the summit at 5,100 meters above sea level. The hike lasts approximately one hour and will reward you with panoramic views of the impressive Rainbow Mountain. Our guide will be available to answer your questions and provide information about the area, and we will also have time to take spectacular photos. You will spend approximately one hour at the summit before beginning the descent. Remember to stay hydrated.
🏞️📸 Time on the rainbow mountain.
you will have approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on weather conditions. Sometimes it is cloudy, foggy or a bit rainy and very cold, in which case you can stay about 30 minutes. If the weather is sunny and clear you can stay about 1 hour, enough time to see on the rainbow mountain .
🌄 optional visit to the red valley.
After visiting Rainbow Mountain, you can opt for a hike to Red Valley, a hidden extension of the Red Valley. If you choose to visit the Red Valley, be sure to bring enough water and stay hydrated.
return to transport.
After enjoying the mountain and taking souvenir photos and videos, we will begin the descent, which lasts approximately 1.5 hours to the transport station
🍽️ Buffet lunch with several options in Cusipata.
We will return to Mollepata for a buffet lunch at a local restaurant where you will have several choices between vegetables, pastas, proteins and carbohydrates and you can make your own combinations according to your taste.
🚐 Return to Cusco.
We begin our return trip to Cusco, arriving around 4:00 p.m., ending an unforgettable day of exploration in the heart of the Peruvian Andes. We finish in the square of Regosijos.
