Your adventure begins with an early-morning pickup from your hotel or Airbnb in Cusco. Sit back and relax as we travel through the beautiful Andean countryside toward the remote community of Pacchanta.

The journey takes approximately 3 to 3.5 hours, offering scenic views of traditional villages, mountain landscapes, and the breathtaking Peruvian Andes.

☕ Breakfast in Pacchanta

Upon arrival in Pacchanta, the starting point of our adventure, enjoy a nutritious and energizing breakfast before beginning the hike.

You will have time to prepare for the trek, use the facilities, and enjoy a warm drink while taking in the peaceful mountain surroundings.

🥾 Guided Hike to the First Lagoon

After breakfast, begin your guided hike through spectacular high-Andean landscapes surrounded by snow-capped peaks, glaciers, and traditional Andean communities.

The first beautiful glacial lagoon is reached after approximately 1.5 hours of hiking. Along the way, you may see alpacas, llamas, and other native wildlife while enjoying breathtaking views of the Ausangate Mountain Range.

🏔️ Explore the Seven Lagoons of Ausangate

Continue your adventure along scenic mountain trails as you discover the remaining six colorful lagoons. Each lagoon has its own unique shades of turquoise, green, and blue, creating one of the most spectacular landscapes in the Peruvian Andes.

Your professional guide will share information about the local environment, glaciers, Andean traditions, and the cultural importance of Ausangate. There will be plenty of time to rest, take photos, and enjoy the incredible panoramic views.

The trail includes sections with uneven terrain and gentle ascents and descents. The pace is manageable, with regular opportunities to take breaks and enjoy the scenery.

Optional horse rental is available locally for travelers who may need additional support during the hike. This service is not included in the tour price and is paid directly to the local horse owner.

🍽️ Lunch & Natural Hot Springs

After completing the hike, return to Pacchanta and enjoy a delicious local lunch.

You will then have the opportunity to relax in the natural hot springs while enjoying spectacular views of the majestic Ausangate Mountain—the perfect way to unwind after an unforgettable day of hiking.

Please note: Entrance to the hot springs is not included and is paid directly on site.

🚌 Return to Cusco | Approximately 3 Hours

After an unforgettable experience in the heart of the Peruvian Andes, begin the scenic journey back to Cusco.

Arrival in Cusco is expected at approximately 7:00 PM, depending on traffic and road conditions.
